Aircraft Enginge Parts?

I'm doing some research on aircraft engine parts,which i thought would be interesting to do,but turns out i have no clue about the aircraft engines..I mean if i did something on like ATVs or pickups i would have this down...but aircraft engines..its harder than it looks.I would like to learn about them more though!Looks like it would be very interesting.
